 I was born and raised in Oklahoma, straight out of high school I went to work in the oil field as an electrician. Over the years I managed a medium sized electrical contracting company, I’ve obtained my contractor’s license in 13 states and my Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

My passion has always been about photography, in late 1970s Ansel Adams came to National Cowboy Hall of Fame in OKC to speak about the art of photography, I made sure I was there. I had been hooked on photography enough at that point to know Ansel Adams knew how to make black and white prints stand out, which taught me that photography is or can be art.

VocoPix was started in 2015, its goal was to reboot my life by following my passion, photography.
